Sounds Easy: Blaze Audio’s Newest Tutorials

(August 16, 2005) Seattle, WA-In order to continue making their audio software products the most user-friendly now available, Blaze Audio has added two new tutorials to their growing catalogue of free online instructional guides. Tutorials on Karaoke Sing-n-Burn and Voice Cloak now join seven other step by step guides that cover everything from converting LPs and cassettes to CD to analog ripping and Wave editing. Blaze Audio’s tutorial series is designed to make sophisticated studio techniques accessible for every user, regardless of technical experience.

To accomplish this objective, Company President Tom Jeffries has assembled a staff whose diverse backgrounds, in addition to software engineering, include music, technical writing and editing, recording, and teaching. He brought this group together because "Our mission is to make working with sound as easy as word processors have made working with words. You shouldn’t need an advanced degree in audio engineering to convert your records to CDs or to edit your sound files." To ensure clarity, all the tutorials are accompanied by clearly labeled screenshots, step by step directions, and a comprehensive technical glossary.

Jeffries and his staff are currently at work on tutorials about the science and techniques of recording, as well as a guide to Blaze Audio’s latest productthe WebEQ XP, a powerful equalizer for computer audio. They see these as two more steps in their goal of offering the most complete series of tutorials available online from any audio software company.
