ePodcast Creator Named Best of Show at Portable Media Expo

(Seattle WA)  Industrial Audio Software's ePodcast Creator has been recognized as this year's "Best All-Inclusive Podcasting Software" at the first exposition devoted entirely to podcasting, Portable Media Expo, held in Ontario, California, this past weekend.  Since the introduction of the ePodcast Series, IAS has been actively involved with creating podcasting software that allows users to spend their time working on the content of their message, not the engineering behind its delivery.
"This is very gratifying for us," says Tom Jeffries, CEO of Industrial Audio Software. "We set out a year ago to produce the most complete solution for podcasters, one that would allow them to record, edit, and upload podcasts easily and without switching from program to program, and this honor has given all thirty of us big smiles.  We put the full weight of our twenty-one years of audio software experience behind the ePodcast Series and are very pleased with the result."
In addition to the many independent podcasters present, as well as representatives from hosting sites and hardware manufacturers, IAS reached out to southern California educators by offering them free passes to the event.  Teachers who viewed demonstrations were particularly impressed by ePodcast Creator's directness and simplicity of use.  "We told them that in less time than it took them to grade a stack of spelling tests, we could show them everything they needed to know to make a podcast,”  says sales director.
The wide cross-section of people and interests represented at PME shows that podcasting is now fully integrated in the mainstream of communications technology.  Like print, radio, and television, podcasting is an effective way to reach around the globe; yet, podcasting is inexpensive, relatively unrestricted by regulations, and, as ePodcast Creator has clearly shown, easy for anyone anywhere to begin using.
